General assembly

The general assembly provides an opportunity to share information with colleagues in the field. The ReCoL (Network of the corresponding persons of Laboratory, Team, Unit) participates in the circulation and feedback of information between the ILVV and all the actors in the field.

Actors in the field

The tasks and activities of the ILVV are carried out in interaction with the research actors in the field. They are encouraged to contribute to and participate in the ILVV's missions.

  • Social scientists working in the field of longevity, old ages and ageing, regional, national and international social science research networks, institutions and decision-making bodies in charge of social protection
  • The bodies in charge of public policies related to ageing,
  • Research partners and research groups (such as GIS iRESP/ Institut du Genre/ CISTE), regional institutional partners, etc.

ILVV is gradually developing a network of corresponding persons from labs and research units (ReCoL): these persons are at the interface between the research structures and the ILVV team. ReCoL will relay information and requests from the ILVV to researchers: contribution to the construction of an interactive database on labs and research units in France, participation in ad hoc working groups (support for mobility, organisation of events, expertise, etc.). ReCoL will submit to the ILVV proposals from research units and labs: proposals for scientific events, expressions of interest in the ILVV's activities, circulation of information on calls for projects, papers and articles, etc.)

General assembly

Research actors meet at the General Assembly: in addition to presenting the year's activities and the roadmap for the following year, the Assembly is an opportunity to present the tools that structure the field. Data sources are one of these tools.
